The Portsmouth Dreadnoughts is a British American Football team based in Portsmouth on the South Coast. The Portsmouth Dreadnoughts family has a place for everyone. If you are interested in playing American Football, coaching, or getting involved in any other way, we want to hear from you.
The home of American Football on the South Coast
The Portsmouth Dreadnoughts were founded in 2012 and over the last 9 years, the club had gone from strength to strength. From humble beginnings in a muddy field in Southsea, the Dreadnoughts now boasts a men’s team, a championship-winning women’s team as well as a growing youth programme.
The Portsmouth Dreadnoughts men’s and youth teams are based at Cockleshell Community Sports Club, while the women’s team play at Havant Rugby Club.

When I took over as head coach for the Dreadnoughts, I inherited a team on the rise. I intend on continuing the ride to the top.
