The Portsmouth Dreadnoughts Senior Team currently compete in the BAFANL SFC2 South. In 2017, the Dreadnoughts will face the Hertfordshire Cheetahs, the Berkshire Renegades, the Bournemouth Bobcats, the Hastings Conquerors and the Maidstone Pumas.
Last season, the Dreadnoughts finished with a 4-6 record, finishing 4th in our division.
The Dreadnoughts play home games at Havant RFC, having moved there from Alexandra Park in 2016. With the support of Havant RFC, the club has experienced significant growth from its origins of only having a Senior team.
The team trains on Sunday mornings at Havant RFC from 12-3. All of the training sessions are open, so anyone can come along and join at any time.
The teams Head Coach is Luke Head-Rapson. Coach Head-Rapson joined the club in 2013 as a player, having taken a break from the sport after playing at the University of Reading. After retirement due to injury, he took on the role of Acting Head Coach in 2016, before being made Head Coach later that year. He also serves as the club’s Defensive Co-Ordinator.
