Portsmouth Dreadnoughts vs Berkshire Renegades MVPs

Following the Senior Team’s first loss of the season, several players were awarded the MVP awards for their performances.

Team MVP went to Safety Joe Clulow. Clulow forced a fumble and had an interception and was otherwise solid against the divisions top passing offense.

Offensive MVP was awarded to Running Back Matt Hales. He was frequently keeping the chains moving and breaking tackles with his physical running style.

Cornerback Adam Cleaver was selected as Defensive MVP. With an early interception that set up the Dreadnoughts only score as well as consistently good coverage, it was aother good day at the office for the verteran defensive back.

Punter George Evans was awarded Special Teams MVP following a good game kicking the ball and a first down picked up on a punt play that broke down before the ball was kicked.

The Play of the Game was the first quarter touchdown pass from Stu Rees to Receiver John Cowen. The long pass opened the scoring in the game and was Cowen’s second receiving touchdown of the season.
